His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, has authorized the Ras Al Khaimah Police Identification Badge, and directed to launch it in order to promote security and safety feeling in the Emirate. Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command has announced the launch of the Identification Badge for its staff members as part of its innovative initiatives and pioneering practices. His Excellency Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, stressed that the directive of His Highness the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah to launch the Identification Badge reflects the government's continuous support for the Police General Command which always strive for excellence and providing the best levels of service to the public in order to enhance security and safety in the Emirate in accordance with the best practices. The Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police pointed out that the Ras Al Khaimah Police Identification Badge will contribute to highlighting the legal status of police officers in sudden incidents and quick response in a way that enhances the concept of security and safety among the members of the community and facilitate police control in such incidents, traffic violations and other issues that fall within the police officers work and specialization. His Excellency added that it will have an effective role in promoting the efficiency level of police officers to the extent possible as well as extending and strengthening ways of communication with all community groups and segments. Al Nuaimi explained that this initiative will advance the realization of the Ministry of Interior vision and objectives to achieve more success. Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi stressed that the Ras Al Khaimah Police Identification Badge is subject to specific rules and regulations that indicate the place and time in which it can be used as it shows the identity of the Ras Al Khaimah Police staff members and ensures that it is used in accordance with the rules and regulations in force to maintain its own intellectual property to ensure that it is used optimally to enhance security, safety and quick response to emergency issues in the community that will be reflected positively on visitors and tourists in Ras Al Khaimah which is moving confidently in the way of progress and excellence in various aspects of life. His Excellency Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi said that the Ras Al Khaimah Police, through this practice and pioneering step, have benefited from the international experience in this field to achieve its objectives of improving the efficiency of the police apparatus in the Emirate and its staff members, narrowing the gap between policemen and community members, in addition to raising the readiness of the staff members of Ras Al Khaimah Police in dealing with emergency cases and accidents with all efficiency and competence. His Excellency pointed out that a number of stages have been developed for marketing and introducing the Ras al-Khaimah Police Identification Badge, including holding a press conference to announce it and preparing a film to identify and publish it through influential people on social media and in the official social media accounts of Ras Al Khaimah Police and distributing brochures and leaflets to cinemas visitors, malls, educational institutions and others.
