The newly reconstituted permanent team for securing celebrations and events in Ras Al Khaimah has officially commenced its duties, following the decision of His Excellency Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police. The team is chaired by His Excellency Brigadier Ahmed Al Sam Al Naqbi, Director General of Central Operations at Ras Al Khaimah Police. Brigadier Al Naqbi chaired the team’s first meeting in the main hall of the Operations Department, with members from across the emirate in attendance.  The meeting discussed the team’s work mechanisms and the responsibilities assigned to its members. Attendees were also briefed on the agenda of upcoming celebrations and events that the team will oversee, supervise, and secure in the coming period. The chairman emphasized the importance of implementing all necessary procedures and measures to ensure the safety and success of various events and celebrations in the emirate. He highlighted the need to provide the best resources, adhere to preventive measures, and coordinate with all relevant authorities to create the desired security environment, aligning with the objectives of the Ministry of Interior and safeguarding attendees and participants. Brigadier Al Naqbi praised the efforts of the previous permanent team, acknowledging their dedication to fulfilling assigned tasks at the highest standards and meeting the aspirations of the Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command. He affirmed the General Command’s commitment to providing logistical support for events across the emirate and called on the newly formed team to intensify efforts, strengthen cooperation, and ensure the success of upcoming events and celebrations, presenting them in a distinguished and honorable manner.
