The Department of Media and Public Relations at Ras Al Khaimah Police has released the July issue of its monthly magazine, " Al Ain Al Sahra," dedicated to police affairs, security topics, and public awareness.

In recognition of World Anti-Drug Day, this issue focuses on the critical issue of drug abuse, a significant threat to individuals and society. The main cover features the theme “In conjunction with World Anti-Drug Day and under the slogan ‘My family is my greatest wealth... effective Emirati efforts in combating these toxins.’” The issue includes a variety of investigations, reports, and live testimonies from behind bars about drug addiction and the role of negative influences in leading individuals astray. It also highlights the efforts of Ras Al Khaimah Police in dismantling the plans of drug traffickers and combating this dangerous scourge.

His Excellency Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, contributed a piece titled “Drugs and Their Challenges,” discussing the UAE’s longstanding commitment to developing security strategies and leveraging human and material resources to fight this menace, as well as enacting stringent laws against those involved. He emphasized the various risks posed by drugs at individual, societal, security, and economic levels.

The editorial of the July issue, under the title “The UAE...Humanity before anything else,” addresses the global danger of drugs and the international efforts to confront and severely punish those involved in spreading, smuggling, promoting, and fostering drug addiction.

In addition to police news, the issue features several articles on the importance of strengthening the relationship between the police and the community, the role of a positive work environment at the Al-Jazeera Al-Hamra Comprehensive Police Station in enhancing productivity and customer satisfaction, as well as specialized articles, a Places and Times section, poetry, a football corner, society news, and more.
