The Local Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Team, as part of a series of continuous efforts to limit the spread of the Covid-19 virus, and in coordination with representatives of government and local departments and agencies, the Department of Economic Development, the Municipality Department and the Community Police Department, conducted a field inspection for 69 facilities in the emirate, in order to follow up the commitment of commercial and economic establishments in Ras Al Khaimah to the application of precautionary and preventive measures to limit the spread of Covid-19.

The field tour that aimed to examine public health and safety standards to prevent Covid-19, in a number of establishments and shops in Ras Al Khaimah, revealed the violation of some facilities and shops, while one of the cafes in the emirate was closed due to its failure to implement preventive measures, and not maintaining distance between customers. Some facilities were fined for violating Covid-19 guidelines.
