The event was moderated by Muhammad Ghanem Mustafa, Director of Ras Al Khaimah Radio, and attended by Brigadier Ahmed Al Sam Al Naqbi, Director of Traffic and Patrols Department at Ras Al Khaimah Police, Chairman of the State Traffic Awareness Committee, Khalaf Salem Anbar, Director General of the Association, as well as several officers and interested individuals.
During the symposium, Brigadier Al Naqbi emphasized the importance of enhancing public awareness of traffic laws and regulations to create a generation that is educated and conscious of their responsibilities on the road. He also highlighted the positive indicators achieved in recent years regarding the reduction of traffic accidents and fatalities, which he attributed to the efforts of the police departments and the support and follow-up of the Ministry of Interior.
The Traffic Week held several educational and awareness activities in the Global Village in Dubai, including seminars, plays, traffic exhibitions, and displays of the latest technologies used in the traffic sector. The slogan "Your life is a trust" was adopted to convey the message of responsible driving and adherence to traffic laws. Brigadier Al Naqbi called on drivers and road users to focus on driving and adhere to the rules and regulations to ensure their safety and the safety of others. He also mentioned the safe city project and modern speed control devices as contributors to achieving positive results and indicators, but stressed the need for continued effort and cooperation from the public to maintain these achievements.
