Ras Al Khaimah Police launched a traffic campaign under the slogan (Traffic Safety is a Requirement and a Goal) to spread traffic awareness and promote positive driver behaviors as part of the traffic safety plan to make roads safer.

Brigadier Dr. Muhammad Saeed AL Hmidi, Director General of Central Operations at Ras Al Khaimah Police, and the General Supervisor of the Campaign, confirmed that this campaign continues for a month and on a daily basis, especially late at night, calling on all road users to adhere to traffic laws and regulations and not to violate them in order to preserve their lives, the souls of others, and their property to reach to a safe, stable and accidents-free community.

The campaign led to the impoundment of 6 vehicles for driving recklessly and posing a threat to their safety and the safety of others in separate areas in the emirate.
