In line with the strategic directives of the Ministry of Interior and the UAE Vision 2031, and as part of efforts to integrate advanced technologies into crime prevention and control, enhance road safety and security, and strengthen emergency response readiness, the Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command has showcased the Integrated Security Dome System project. The initiative reflects the adoption of best local and international policing practices and represents one of the most significant transformative projects aimed at sustaining a competitive quality of life within the emirate’s security sector.

The Integrated Security Dome System is a comprehensive security platform that leverages the latest smart surveillance technologies and advanced data analytics. By analyzing and linking data and operational processes through a unified digital platform, the system provides extensive and integrated coverage of roads and vital locations across the emirate. This enables enhanced risk prediction capabilities and raises levels of preparedness, proactivity, and rapid response across all police sectors.

Brigadier Dr. Tariq Mohammed bin Saif, Director General of Police Operations, affirmed that the project supports the UAE’s digital transformation agenda and embodies a forward-looking vision focused on strengthening the smart security ecosystem to support decision-making. He noted that the system enhances institutional resilience by keeping pace with evolving modern criminal methods, thereby reinforcing proactive measures to prevent, combat, and mitigate such threats at both local and international levels.

Brigadier bin Saif further explained that the project was implemented in carefully planned phases and is built on an integrated operational framework that incorporates strategic planning and intelligence, governance principles, risk management, and change management. This approach ensures efficiency, effectiveness, coordination, and seamless integration among all police sectors, including criminal, traffic, and operational teams, through a single unified digital platform.

Through the Integrated Security Dome System, Ras Al Khaimah Police aims to achieve national competitive indicators in criminal and traffic performance, while enhancing overall safety and security for all members of the community.
