Ras Al Khaimah Police announced the establishment of an integrated system for social partnerships and joint prevention, aimed at enhancing security, social, and environmental integration, and promoting a culture of prevention and proactive intervention.

H.E. Brigadier Dr. Tariq Mohammed bin Saif, Director General of Police Operations in Ras Al Khaimah, stated that this system has contributed to the launch of several qualitative initiatives, including “Together, Our Society is Safe,” which targeted 15 communities in cooperation with Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) to enhance security awareness and strengthen communication between the police and the society. It also included the “Tourism and Safety” initiative, aimed at supporting hotel staff and training them on how to handle lost and found items and emergency procedures, thereby enhancing tourism security and strengthening visitors’ sense of safety. These initiatives were linked to strategic partnerships to ensure effective outreach and sustainable impact.

He further stated that a significant number of staff members at tourist hotels and hospitality facilities have benefited from the lectures and awareness campaigns delivered since the start of this year, explaining that this initiative underscores Ras Al Khaimah Police’s commitment to enhancing social cohesion, enabling society members to play an active role in joint prevention, and realizing a comprehensive model of social and preventive security in the Emirate.

His Excellency stressed the importance of intensifying efforts to disseminate preventive awareness in collaboration with concerned partners, in a way that serves the public good and meets the needs of targeted groups of tourists and visitors, thus contributing to advancing tourism development in Ras Al Khaimah, attaining additional achievements, and reinforcing the Emirate’s standing on the Gulf, Arab, and international tourism landscape.
