The Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command has successfully completed security rehearsal procedures for the UAE Tour 2025, finalizing its on-ground security plan along the 179-kilometer race route. A total of 50 patrols have been strategically stationed at key security points, including road entrances, exits, and intersections, ensuring a seamless and secure event.

Lieutenant Colonel Salem Bourguiba, Acting Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department and Tour Security Supervisor, confirmed that the security rehearsal was executed with outstanding success. The race is set to begin at 11:54 AM on Wednesday, with patrols deployed from Al Qawasim Corniche to the finish line at Jebel Jais to safeguard all participants.

As part of the preparations, security training was also conducted to ensure the safety of spectators, including 480 students from eight schools across Ras Al Khaimah, who will be cheering for the cyclists from designated zones in collaboration with the Ras Al Khaimah Education Zone.

Lieutenant Colonel Bourguiba urged road users and the public to exercise caution and cooperate with the police during the event. He emphasized the importance of following traffic guidelines, using alternative routes, and adhering to safety instructions, ensuring smooth traffic flow and reflecting the civilized image of the emirate. These efforts align with the Ministry of Interior’s strategy to enhance security and public safety during major events.
