His Excellency Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, Head of the Local Emergency Crisis and Disaster Team, inaugurated the mobile Field Crisis Center for managing emergency events and crises in the field. The Centre isconsidered the first of its kind at the level of the Emirate. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Brigadier Abdullah Khamis Al-Hadidi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, and Director Generals in the presence of Engineer Ahmed Al Hammadi, Director General of the PublicServices Department, Munther bin Shukr Al Zaabi, Director General of the Municipality Department in Ras Al Khaimah, Falah Muhammad Al Harsh, Director of the Emergency Crisis and Disaster Center in Ras Al Khaimah, and Dr. SaifMuhammad Al Ghais, Executive Director of the Environment Protection and Development Authority in Ras Al Khaimah.
His Excellency Major General Al Nuaimi confirmed that the mobile center is equipped with the latest technologies, smart systems, means of telecommunication, communication, monitoring, control and remote control, in addition to a meeting room for 19 people which represents a new qualitative addition to the fleet of the General Command of Ras Al Khaimah Police. His Excellency added that the Ras Al Khaimah Police is always keen to harness all available material capabilities to develop work and provide the best levels of security service in line with the strategic objectives of the Ministry of Interior that seeks to enhance security and safety and ensure preparedness to confront events, and contribute to enhance rapid response in an efficient and effective manner to enhance the activation of the strategic partnership by distributing roles among all parties concerned with emergency, crisis and disaster management at the local level.
His Excellency indicated that the new vehicle is considered one of the most important police capabilities in dealing with field events and crises in a way that contributes to enhancing the speed of response efficiently and effectively, adding that the Ras Al Khaimah Police is keen to support its fleet with the latest vehicles, equipment and devices that keep pace with development and contribute to achieving the vision and objectives of the Ministry of Interior.
