His Excellency confirmed that security patrols have been intensified to closely monitor the security situation during the celebrations of the 49th National Day, especially at the vital and celebration areas, as well as the launch of 100 traffic and civilian patrols to facilitate the flow of traffic, prevent congestion and traffic jams, and to clear gatherings out in order to preserve the community safety from infection with COVID-19.

His Excellency stressed that marches and gatherings are prohibited, and there shall not be more than three passengers in a vehicle. His Excellency stressed the need to abide by precautionary and preventive measures to prevent Covid-19, by wearing medical masks and keeping physical distancing.
