The meeting addressed several key topics, including discussing the importance of raising family and community awareness of the risks associated with drug abuse and psychotropic substances.
Placing particular focus on the “student segment,” the meeting emphasized the importance of integrated efforts to provide enhanced guidance and counseling to students for the prevention of drug abuse, through intensifying awareness workshops and lectures aimed at preventing the use of psychotropic substances and ways to curb addiction.
The meeting also discussed several development proposals, including integrating recovered individuals into the labor market by providing opportunities for employment within public institutions and the private sector, with the aim of achieving social reintegration and public benefit. It further addressed the adoption of “special incentives” for individuals recovering from substance addiction, in order to support and motivate them to abstain from drug abuse, renounce addiction, and resume their daily lives normally.
