Ras Al Khaimah Police participates with the Arab Traffic Departments in the celebration of Arab Traffic Week 2022 during the period from 4-10 May under the slogan (Safe and Advanced Traffic).

His Excellency Brigadier Ahmed Saeed Al Naqbi, Director of Traffic and Patrols Department at Ras Al Khaimah Police and Head of the Traffic Awareness Team at the Federal Traffic Council, stressed that participation in the Arab Traffic Week comes within the framework of Ras Al Khaimah Police’s keenness to raise traffic awareness for road users and enhance responsibility to abide by traffic, regulations and laws and to reduce the causes leading to traffic accidents, deaths and serious injuries.

The Director of Ras Al Khaimah Traffic explained that traffic accidents occur for several reasons, most notably excessive speed, sudden deviation, preoccupation with other than the road, and not leaving enough distance while driving and entering the road before making sure of being clear and other wrong behaviors that lead to traffic accidents.
