Ras Al Khaimah Police Holds a Session on Strategic Intelligence


 In the presence of H.E. Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police; H.E. Brigadier Jamal Ahmed Al Tair, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police; Their Excellencies the Directors General; Colonel Marwan Abdullah Jakkah, Director of Strategy and Performance Development Department; senior officers; officers; and all concerned staff members, the General Command of Ras Al Khaimah Police, represented by the Strategy and Performance Development Department, held a brainstorming session titled "Strategic Intelligence."

H.E. the Commander-in-Chief of Police emphasized the importance of investing in modern technologies and artificial intelligence and adapting to them in planning and decision-making processes, in order to guide strategic and national plans towards achieving the "We the UAE 2031" Vision and the directives of the Ministry of Interior, aiming to realize the comprehensive and long-term vision of the UAE Centennial 2071. His Excellency noted that the matter is not limited to formulating plans, but lies in seeing what others do not, to ensure proactiveness and integration across all operations. Therefore, it is incumbent upon us to unify efforts and maintain the spirit of teamwork based on clear strategic values and directions aligned with national agenda priorities, with the goal of achieving impactful results in society security and quality of life, by reducing operational procedures and embracing leadership and modern technology aimed at lowering financial costs.

During the first session, working groups representing all organizational units began directly employing strategic intelligence within the four main pillars titled (Crime Prevention, Road Safety, Readiness and Preparedness, and Service Development), through a constructive discussion aimed at presenting new ideas focused on transformational projects and initiatives. In the second session, group coordinators presented the outcomes of their work to the supervisory committee, chaired by H.E. the Commander-in-Chief, which evaluated, discussed, and approved the ideas with the respective teams.

Major Dr. Ahmed Jamal Al Tair, Head of the Strategic Planning Section at the Strategy and Performance Development Department, presented the advantages of strategic intelligence, which supports the shift from strategic planning to strategic intelligence by emphasizing the ability to anticipate upcoming transformations and their interconnection with political, economic, social, and technological contexts that influence decision-making by linking operational plans to strategic objectives, while also stressing the need to consider adaptability and flexibility during planning processes. He highlighted the importance of analyzing trends, risks, opportunities, and performance indicators to contribute to building scenarios that assist in analyzing the impact of policies and transformational projects, in pursuit of principles aimed at achieving the UAE Vision 2031. This vision is grounded in adopting strategic and artificial intelligence in planning processes, simplifying procedures, reducing requirements, and activating national initiatives through smart planning to achieve financial efficiency and realize proactive transformational projects and initiatives.
