The Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command convened a meeting to discuss the risks of motorcycles (Talabat - Delivery), presided over by His Excellency Brigadier Ahmed Al Samm Al Naqbi, Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department, and attended by a number of officers and relevant partners, including representatives of the Economic Department and delivery company managers, with the goal of raising awareness and improving safety, discussing traffic violations for the category of delivery bike drivers (Talabat - Delivery), and traffic violations items resulting from wrong traffic behaviors, such as failure to stop correctly at intersections and red lights, excessive speed, non-compliance with road lanes while driving, overtaking while not using the side lights, not leaving enough distance while driving, and overtaking when traffic stops, especially at intersections and traffic signals. The meeting also emphasized on conducting a number of awareness workshops to inform them of the mistakes committed and also educates them.
