Under the patronage of H.E. Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, Brigadier Dr. Tareq Mohammed bin Saif, Director General of Police Operations, attended the “Customer Councils” events organized by the General Command of Ras Al Khaimah Police. The events were attended by directors general and their deputies, a representative from the General Directorate of Happiness at the Ministry of Interior, department directors and officers, with broad participation from partners representing various entities and school students. In his speech, H.E. the Director General of Police Operations emphasized that organizing this event reflects Ras Al Khaimah Police’s commitment to the directives of the UAE Government and its “Zero Bureaucracy” program, launched to simplify procedures, eliminate administrative complexities, and accelerate the delivery of smart and digital services, thereby contributing to enhancing the quality of life for the society and achieving the highest levels of customer satisfaction and happiness. He pointed out that Ras Al Khaimah Police, under the directives of H.E. the Commander-in-Chief, seeks to transform the outcomes of the Customer Councils into practical initiatives that enhance the police’s ability to deliver proactive services supported by technology and artificial intelligence, through unified and diversified service channels that ensure the highest standards of confidentiality and reliability. This approach aligns with the strategic objectives of the General Command and the Service Excellence Strategy 2023–2026, and is in line with the goals of the “We the UAE 2031” vision, which focuses on building a safe, stable society with world-class quality of life. Colonel Marwan Abdullah Jakka, Director of the Strategy and Performance Development Department and Head of the Customer Councils Team at Ras Al Khaimah Police, highlighted that the Command is committed to embedding innovation in the development and design of police services, making life easier for the society members and proactively addressing future requirements. He further noted that the Customer Councils serve as a vital platform that embodies the values of transparency and collects developmental ideas by engaging relevant groups in the process of service improvement, supporting the UAE’s direction towards simpler, faster, and more impactful services, in line with the government’s objectives of creating a streamlined, bureaucracy-free environment. During the event, Major Dr. Hamad Ali Mohammed Al Shehi, Head of the Happiness Section at Ras Al Khaimah Police, reviewed the objectives of the Customer Councils, explaining that they aim to engage customers in shaping and developing government services, identify challenges faced by certain police and traffic services, and propose practical solutions that contribute to improving service quality and efficiency. The councils also support government innovation as a key tool for sustainable development, while enhancing customer satisfaction in line with the nation’s aspirations to achieve global leadership in quality of life indicators. The session included a presentation of services that encounter operational challenges, where participants, including partners, customers, employees, and students, shared unique perspectives and ideas. These contributions were documented and will be reviewed by the relevant teams, with suitable proposals selected for practical implementation. At the conclusion of the event, Brigadier Dr. Tareq Mohammed bin Saif honored the strategic partners involved in the designated services, in recognition of their valuable contributions. He affirmed that Ras Al Khaimah Police remains committed to supporting the UAE Government’s vision of a future-oriented, agile, digital, and smart government, free from bureaucracy, and focused on human well-being, security, and quality of life.
