In support of development and the achievement of security and economic sustainability, objectives pursued by the wise leadership and adopted by the Ministry of Interior, Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command, represented by the Criminal Investigation Department, Tourist Police Section, in cooperation with the Media and Public Relations Department, participated in the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA) pavilion at the Arabian Travel Market 2025, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
The pavilion attracted significant interest from attendees, including H.E. Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy and Member of the Cabinet, alongside ambassadors, consuls, diplomats, representatives of the travel and tourism industry, and a large number of tourists and exhibition visitors.
Colonel Omar Al Oud Al Tunaiji, Director of the Criminal Investigation Department at Ras Al Khaimah Police, emphasized that the tourism and travel sectors are among the most vital sectors in the UAE, attracting significant interest from both local and international audiences. He attributed this to the security efforts undertaken by police leadership across the country to promote and reinforce safety, which has led to increased public confidence and a heightened sense of security, which has driven growth in tourism and travel, positioning the UAE among the world’s top and most competitive travel destinations. He affirmed that Ras Al Khaimah Police, in alignment with the Ministry of Interior’s strategy, is committed to fostering a safe and sustainable tourism environment.
Colonel Hamad Abdullah Al Awadhi, Director of the Media and Public Relations Department at Ras Al Khaimah Police, stated that the participation of Ras Al Khaimah Police in the Arabian Travel Market 2025 aims to welcome visitors and tourists, and to showcase the efforts made by Ras Al Khaimah Police in promoting the security of the society.
He also noted that the participation includes an exhibition of advanced devices, equipment, and capabilities developed by Ras Al Khaimah police, in addition to raising awareness among visitors about the roles, tasks, and achievements of the Tourist Police in maintaining tourism security and enhancing the overall quality of life in the society.
