In alignment with the UAE leadership’s designation of 2025 as the “Year of Society”, the Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command, through the Community Protection and Prevention Department and in collaboration with the Media and Public Relations Department, organized an educational forum focused on strengthening community values.
As part of the "Together, Our Society is Safe" initiative under the "Community Coexistence Initiative", Major Abdullah Shalik, Manager of the Community Awareness Branch, delivered a lecture to 190 students from the Bangladeshi English Private School, along with the school’s administrative and educational staff. The event also included a coordination meeting with the school administration to foster communication, identify key needs, and explore avenues for effective cooperation.
The forum was attended by Colonel Abdullah Abdul Rahman Al Zaabi, Acting Director of the Community Protection and Prevention Department, Lieutenant Colonel Rashid Saeed Balhoun, Head of the Community Police Section, and a number of officers and personnel from Ras Al Khaimah Police
Colonel Al Zaabi emphasized the commitment of Ras Al Khaimah Police to strengthening ties with various communities, reflecting the leadership’s vision of fostering positive integration and social cohesion. He highlighted the importance of proactive ideas and initiatives that enhance awareness and develop society, in line with the country’s progress and innovation goals.
Major Abdullah Shalik illustrated key community values through real-life examples, ensuring an engaging and impactful session for attendees. The lecture concluded with an interactive Q&A session, addressing students' and staff members’ inquiries.
The session emphasized several key recommendations, including promoting tolerance and coexistence among students, teachers, and staff, encouraging collective responsibility in safeguarding society and combating negative behaviors, fostering happiness and quality of life within the school community, and hosting regular student meetings to reinforce the forum’s educational impact.
