The Air Wing Section of the Ras Al Khaimah Police rescued two European trekkers, who were injured during a mountain trip at the "Sheha area" in Ras Al Khaimah, while they were climbing heights and peaks and exploring the mountain ranges in the emirate.

Colonel Pilot Saeed Rashid Al Yamahi, Head of the Air Wing Section of Ras Al Khaimah Police, stated that as soon as the report was received at Ras Al Khaimah Police Operations Room, the search and rescue team rushed a helicopter of Ras Al Khaimah Police’s Air Wing to the location. Soon, the area was scanned and the two injured persons were located. They were immediately given first aid and moved to a hospital in Ras Al Khaimah for treatment.

Colonel Al Yamahi, wishing all safety, has appealed to Emiratis, residents and tourists to avoid the extremely rugged mountainous areas while climbing and to stick to areas that are closest to the roads.
