Ras Al Khaimah Police Media and Relations Department has conducted a cooperative visit to the Media Office of the Emirate Government. The visit is part of the Media and Public Relations Department's plan to intensify communication channels and enhance cooperation with media and strategic partners to spread and reinforce security and safety in line with the Ministry of Interior's strategy.
The delegation, led by His Excellency Colonel Hamad Al-Awadi, Acting Director of the Media and Public Relations Department, included Lieutenant Colonel Sultan bin Khalid Al Qasimi, Deputy Director of the Media and Public Relations Department, and several officers from the Media Office of the Government of Ras Al Khaimah. The delegation was welcomed by Her Excellency Heba Fatani, Director General of the Media Office of the Government of Ras Al Khaimah.
Colonel Al-Awadi clarified that the visit aimed to familiarize themselves with the best applied media practices, document institutional communication tools and roles, and promote joint media plans, programs, events, and activities between Ras Al Khaimah Police and the Ras Al Khaimah Government Media Office. The delegation also aimed to benefit from advanced information technology and digital transformation, which are key to providing the best media coverage, press and digital news publishing.
Furthermore, Colonel Al-Awadi commended the strategic media role played by the media office of the government of Ras Al Khaimah, noting their vital role in providing necessary media support while ensuring continuous media coordination and cooperation with all agencies and institutions to strengthen and highlight media efforts in the emirate in general and police media in particular. The visit successfully achieved its objectives of developing and documenting institutional communication between the two sides, promoting joint media plans, and benefiting from advanced technology to provide the best media coverage.
