The General Command of Ras Al Khaimah Police recorded a tangible improvement in the level of public security during the first half of 2025, as a 6.9% decrease in the rate of serious crimes was observed compared to the previous year. H.E. Brigadier Dr. Tariq Mohammed bin Saif, Director General of Police Operations at Ras Al Khaimah Police, stated that this achievement reflects the success of proactive security efforts and the effective adoption of smart data analysis mechanisms in security planning and operational execution, which has contributed to reducing risks and enhancing the society’s sense of safety, stability, and quality of life.
The Director General of Police Operations affirmed that these results have highlighted the efficiency of operational systems and the accuracy of security priority setting, which has contributed to positioning the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah as a model to be emulated in security and safety at the national level.
His Excellency further noted that the Ministry of Interior, represented by Ras Al Khaimah Police, has adopted strategic security planning as a fundamental pillar of internal security, guiding the objectives of police work across various fields. He explained that continuous follow-up on work plans and performance has contributed to achieving optimal results in performance indicators related to disturbing crimes, with full transparency, through periodic reports that accurately monitor and document performance across police and security domains. These reports serve as reliable references for assessment and review of security and society well-being. He reaffirmed the commitment to continue working diligently to preserve security and stability and to protect the State’s national achievements across all fields.
