With the support of the Ministry of Interior and under the directives and presence of His Excellency Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, and a number of director generals, directors of departments and senior officers, and Emirati staff members participated in submitting their samples for the benefit of the UAE Genome Project at the Martyr Tariq Building in the Ras Al Khaimah Police GHQ and the Police Training Center.

His Excellency Major General Al Nuaimi said that participation in this national project aimed at providing the best levels of health care to understand the nature of genetic diseases in the local community through the use of the genome comes within the framework of Ras Al Khaimah Police's keenness to make this project a success, which will contribute to reaching an accurate diagnosis of diseases, providing the necessary treatment for patients, strengthening the capacity and efficiency of health policies in the country in the future, as well as raising its position in the global competitiveness index and providing high-level health care.
