The annual celebration on May 6th of each year commemorating the unification of the UAE Armed Forces to embody this national achievement, thanks to the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God bless him, formed the fortress that defends the union of the seven emirates that united under the flag of the UAE.
Since its unification in 1976, the UAE Armed Forces have played a pivotal role in stabilizing the state’s rules on solid ground that made the loyalty and affiliation of its sons, members and their great sacrifices as a role model to abide by in national responsibility and in preserving and maintaining the union’s gains and firmly addressing any risks that may threaten its security, stability and safety.
