Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan, Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, praised the efforts of the team, the Criminal Investigation Department, who arrested an Asian in 3 hours after he stabbed two Asians and tried to leave to his country from Ras Al Khaimah International Airport.

Brigadier Ahmed Saeed Al-Mansoori, Director of the Criminal Investigation Department of, said that after receiving a report about an Asian who was a victim following an attempt on his life behind one of the emirate's stores.  A team from the department, accompanied by experts from the competent authorities, was immediately dispatched to the location, after consent from the Public Prosecution, and the injured was rushed by national ambulance to a hospital in the emirate. Meanwhile, another report stated that another Asian was also a victim of an attempted murder in the same area. Immediately, the specialized team was dispatched to the location and the injured was rushed to a hospital.

Despite the lack of information and time, the inferences led to Asian who was caught just before he was to board a flight to his home country. There were bloodstains on the suspect’s clothes. Investigations revealed that the suspect had a dispute with the victims over a sum of money he had loaned them.
