Ras Al Khaimah Police Search and Rescue rescues 3 tourists in Wadi Naqab

Ras Al Khaimah Police Search and Rescue successfully saved the lives of three tourists who had become lost while hiking in the challenging terrain of Wadi Naqab in Ras Al Khaimah. The Head of the Search and Rescue Section, Major Abdullah Al Saman, reported that the police received a distress call about the stranded tourists, who were of different nationalities and were stuck at the top of a mountain in Wadi Naqab. Responding swiftly, the police deployed personnel, patrols, and specialized equipment to the area. Through the use of advanced equipment, the exhausted tourists were located, provided with necessary assistance, and given initial medical aid on-site before being transported to a hospital for further examinations.
Major Abdullah Al Saman urged all individuals, including citizens, residents, and tourists, to exercise caution when engaging in mountain activities and climbing heights. He emphasized the importance of notifying the authorities before entering rugged areas and adhering to designated routes, particularly in dangerous zones like mountain peaks.
