During the last year, the Ras Al Khaimah Police's Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department executed 488,915 different transactions, 382,348 for vehicles and 106,567 related to driving licenses. The renewal of 92,092 private light cars and the re-registration of 2,408 light vehicles took place last year, according to Colonel Rashid Salem Al Zaabi, Director of the Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department at Ras Al Khaimah Police. Colonel Al Zaabi stated that the department handled 106,567 transactions involving driver licensing last year, including the issuance of 3,080 vehicle driving licenses for a period of one year and 37,559 vehicle driving licenses for periods longer than one year. Colonel Al Zaabi emphasized that smart services and applications helped to advance the work process, speed up the completion of transactions, and save time and effort for customers. Lt. Col. Sultan Saif Al-Sayyah, Head of the Technical Inspection Department at the Ras Al-Khaimah Police, noted that 149,540 cars were examined at the "ENOC Ras Al-Khaimah" registration village during the course of the previous year. Especially with the presence of 8 vehicle inspection lanes in the registration village, which contributed to the happiness of customers and raised their level of satisfaction with the services offered to them, he added that the average single-vehicle inspection time was 11 minutes, which means that this was done under the established indicator, which is set at 13 minutes.
