Emergency Crisis and Disaster Team in Ras Al Khaimah bans gatherings at residential neighborhoods during the 15th of Sha'ban

The Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Team in Ras Al Khaimah announced a set of precautionary and preventive measures to celebrate the 15thof Sha'ban to curb the spread of Covid-19 virus. According to the new measures, community members should abide by social distancing, and not to hold family gatherings in residential neighborhoods.

His Excellency Brigadier Abdullah Khamis Al Hadidi, Deputy Head of the Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Team in Ras Al Khaimah - Acting Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, appealed to members of the community to adhere by the application of precautionary and preventive measures by ensuring physical distancing, staying at home, and not gathering in residential neighborhoods, to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus and to keep the community safe and free of diseases.

In the same context, a field team from the Community Police Department, represented by Major Rashid Saeed Belhoun, Head of the Community Police Department, accompanied by Captain Hassan Al Awadi, Manager of the Community Police Branch at the Madinah Comprehensive Police Station, carried out an expanded field awareness campaign that included shops and malls in the emirate to provide awareness and guidance to the precautionary measures.
