Coinciding with the International Anti-Drug Day, every year on the June  26th, which is held this year 2022 under the slogan (Drugs .. A Painful End), the Anti-Narcotics Department, in cooperation with the Department of Media and Public Relations - Awareness and Media Campaigns Branch, launched broadcasting legal texts and awareness messages to defeat the dangers of drug addiction and the abuse of psychotropic substances, through cinema screens in three (3) languages ​​(Arabic, English, and Chinese), in implementation of the strategy of the Ministry of Interior, in spreading and strengthening security awareness within a wide range, to reach a drugs-free community by providing appropriate solutions to drug abusers and taking advantage of the law provisions that guarantee exemption from legal accountability for those who come to the police, prosecution or treatment unit, for voluntary treatment of addiction on their own, or through a family member and their relatives.
