His Excellency Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, inaugurated the Armed Response Section of the Special Tasks Department of Ras Al Khaimah Police, in the presence of Brigadier Dr. Muhammad Al Hamidi, Director General of Central Operations, and Colonel Yusef Salem bin Yaqoub, Director of Special Tasks Department, with the aim of enhancing the immediate response to all security incidents that require rapid intervention.

His Excellency confirmed that the personnel of the Armed Response Section have been trained and qualified to the highest standards of theoretical and field training, and with the latest equipment, provided that their presence and deployment is 24 hours in all vital places and facilities, to combat various security challenges. 

Major General Al Nuaimi stressed the importance of the personnel’s appearance in an honorable manner as a role model in front of the community members, with the willingness and readiness to provide all forms of aid and assistance in the first place, gain the community’s satisfaction, and enhance the sense of security, safety, and quality of life.
