On the occasion of World Mental Health Day, the Emirates Association for Social Development, in collaboration with the Department of the Punitive and Correctional Establishment of Ras Al Khaimah Police, organized a technical workshop for female inmates as part of the Association's desire to spread health awareness, enrich cultural life, and support the energies of various segments of society. Mrs. Hamama Al Shehhi, painter and owner of the Hamama Art Studio project, led the session. Inmates (80 in all) made paintings that offer a brief summary of their mood and provide an opportunity to relieve tension and anxiety levels while developing creative talents.
