The Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command has entered into a memorandum of understanding aimed at bolstering technologies and employing cutting-edge solutions in the fight against crime.
As part of its commitment to improving the quality of life for the UAE community, the Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command actively participated in the 25th edition of the "Intersec 2024" exhibition—an internationally renowned event focusing on emergency, security, and safety services. The initiative sought to strengthen communication and forge relationships with experts in the security and safety sector, as well as government officials and corporate decision-makers. The goal is to provide proactive and innovative security services to enhance overall well-being.
During the exhibition, the Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command formalized a memorandum of understanding with Hikvision Company. The agreement aims to advance techniques and technologies in crime prevention, developing the technical and technological capabilities of the police apparatus. This collaboration involves leveraging advanced technology solutions to combat modern crime, ensuring preparedness and readiness in crisis and disaster management. The objective is to achieve optimal performance outcomes with efficiency and high quality across all areas of security and safety.
The memorandum was signed by His Excellency Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, the Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, and Engineer Frank Zhong, the CEO of the Middle East and Africa at Hikvision. The signing ceremony was attended by representatives from both sides.
Major General Bin Alwan emphasized that the memorandum underscores sustained strategic interaction and cooperation between the government and private sectors. It aims to enhance collaboration in the development of security monitoring and protection technologies, offering rapid technical solutions in resource exchange, information sharing, expertise, and capacity building. The collaboration also extends to supporting the General Command with state-of-the-art examination technologies, advanced laboratories, and specialized security systems in the realms of innovation and future anticipation.
The Commander-in-Chief highlighted the commitment of the Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command to forging memorandums of understanding, establishing strategic partnerships, and fostering constructive communication and continuous coordination with various institutions.
