The Al Madina Comprehensive Police Station in Ras Al Khaimah has launched a collaborative initiative with the Ras Al Khaimah Charitable Foundation to prioritize worker safety and minimize the risk of injuries. The initiative includes the distribution of personal protective equipment and the provision of 100 meals to workers, aimed at promoting happiness and fostering a culture of positivity within the UAE community.
Led by Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Youssef Abdullah Al-Taniji, the Head of Al-Madina Comprehensive Police Station, the initiative involved a visit to construction sites within the jurisdiction of the police station. The purpose of the visit was to provide guidance and support to workers, emphasizing the importance of adhering to preventive measures during work. Specifically, workers were educated on the significance of wearing helmets to protect against direct sunlight and potential falls from heights. Additionally, the necessity of wearing reflective jackets during nighttime was highlighted to mitigate the risk of traffic accidents by ensuring workers' visibility in low light conditions or during foggy weather.

Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Youssef Al-Tunaiji stressed that the implementation of this initiative reflects the comprehensive police station's commitment to societal responsibility, particularly towards workers, and aims to strengthen the values of compassion and support within the community. Recognizing the contributions of workers in advancing the construction and development process, the initiative aligns with the sustainability objectives pursued by the Ministry of Interior and the General Command of Ras Al Khaimah Police. The overarching goal is to ensure public satisfaction with the services provided and to enhance overall security and safety.
