The Social Support Center at the Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command has been actively engaged in its mission, handling a total of 392 community cases while spearheading 25 impactful initiatives encompassing awareness projects, workshops, and lectures. These initiatives have benefitted 1,747 members of the community during the initial six months of 2023. This dedicated effort aligns with the overarching goals of the Ministry of Interior, as embodied by the General Command of Ras Al Khaimah Police, to enhance the quality of security and focus on upholding human rights within the emirate's society.
Colonel Dr. Ahmed Ibrahim Subeian, Director of the Social Support Center at Ras Al Khaimah Police, emphasized the center's commitment to delivering a wide range of awareness programs and initiatives tailored to various segments of society, including citizens and residents of diverse nationalities. These programs feature a series of enlightening lectures addressing themes such as the significance of preserving social fabric, promoting family cohesion and stability, and combating negative phenomena and behaviors that pose threats to the well-being and safety of families and children. These efforts reflect the Ministry of Interior's strategic vision aimed at upholding community security.
Furthermore, the Director of the Social Support Center in Ras Al Khaimah emphasized the dedication of the center's psychologists and social specialists to provide effective solutions and consultations for resolving differences, and disputes, and facilitating amicable reconciliations. These interventions are conducted discreetly and peacefully, guided by principles of tolerance, with the ultimate goal of promoting unity, reconciliation, and harmony among all members of society. This approach underscores the Ministry of Interior's commitment to nurturing a heightened sense of societal responsibility.
