His Excellency Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan, Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, has been awarded the prestigious IBPC International Best Practices Award. The award was presented by His Excellency Robin Mann, Director of the Center for Organizational Excellence Research (COER) in New Zealand, President of the Global Performance Measurement Network, and Founder of the International Best Practices Competition. The recognition was given in appreciation of Ras Al Khaimah Police achieving a 7-star rating in the Digital Transformation category for their LMS project, which focuses on the electronic linkage between crime-fighting partners. This award was part of the Ninth International Best Practices Competition, held in New Zealand.
His Excellency Robin Mann commended the Ras Al Khaimah Police for their leadership and excellence in security, particularly highlighting their success in securing the Best Practices Award for 2024. He noted the positive impact of their achievement and wished the police force continued success in winning prestigious international awards.
In response, Major General Ali Al Nuaimi expressed his pride in this significant accomplishment by the Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command, which prevailed among numerous international competitors. He attributed this success to the efforts of dedicated police personnel who have excelled in proposing and implementing innovative projects, initiatives, and advancements that promote the growth and sustainability of police work. The Commander-in-Chief emphasized the force’s ongoing commitment to adopting cutting-edge technology to combat modern crime and to proactively address security challenges at both the local and international levels. The LMS project, in particular, plays a critical role in facilitating swift justice and contributing to the overall quality of life by enhancing community security and service delivery.

Major General bin Alwan also highlighted that this award aligns with the broader mission of the UAE's Ministry of Interior, which is focused on bolstering security and safety. He noted that Ras Al Khaimah Police’s achievement is a continuation of the ministry’s efforts to enhance the quality of security services through the implementation of innovative projects, operational excellence, and administrative best practices. The Commander-in-Chief reaffirmed the importance of learning from global experiences to continuously elevate the police system in the United Arab Emirates.
