The General Command of Ras Al Khaimah Police arrested a person of an Asian nationality, who was holding his marriage ceremony in one of the wedding halls in the emirate without adhering to all the conditions and preventive measures approved and stipulated, to hold such parties, and he also published videos showing his and the invitees’ non-compliance to take safety and preventive measuresto limit the spread of the new Corona virus Covid-19, and publish those videos on social media, in violation of the decisions of the Attorney General regarding precautionary and preventive measures to combat Coronavirus. Accordingly, legal measures were taken against him and referred to the Emergency Crises and Disasters’ Prosecution Office to complete the legal procedures.
