Al-Ain Al-Sahira Magazine, published by the Media and Public Relations Department of Ras Al Khaimah Police, has returned to print with its latest issue, No. 346, for August. On its cover, the magazine presents an investigation entitled “Between Awareness and Prevention: How to Avoid Summer Hazards”, addressing the continuous rise in temperatures during the hot summer months and the resulting incidents that demand collective action from both individuals and institutions to collaborate in confronting them and minimize human and material damages. The report emphasizes the initiatives of concerned government authorities in promoting community awareness and encourages the public to follow safety guidelines and instructions to safeguard themselves from summer dangers. Under the title “Crime Prevention”, Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, wrote in “Security Vision” column about the pivotal role played by police authorities in prevention. He highlighted the activation of the Community Protection and Prevention Department, the intensification of patrols, and the use of modern technology for monitoring and surveillance. He emphasized that crime prevention is one of the fundamental pillars for achieving security and stability in communities, making it a collective responsibility that requires the combined efforts of the state, families, schools, and society to ensure a safer and more prosperous future. On “Studies” page, Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chief of Police and General Security in Dubai, wrote about the role of police in treating and rehabilitating repentant drug addicts, and discussed Dubai Police’s philosophy behind establishing a center for the treatment and rehabilitation of addicts. Brigadier Dr. Mohammed Abdul Rahman Al-Ahmad, Director of Electronic Services Department at Ras Al Khaimah Police, addressed in his article titled “Digital Transformation in Policing: Building Society Trust through Smart Technologies” the importance of digital transformation in policing, emphasizing that it is not merely a technical objective but a renewed trust project between the institution and the society. On “Highlights” section, Lieutenant Colonel Khalid Hassan Al Naqbi, Editor-in-Chief of the magazine, highlighted the return of Al-Ain Al-Sahira Magazine to print after several years of absence. Since its launch, the magazine has served as a respected national platform reflecting the pulse of the security vision and documenting the efforts of police officers with integrity and pride. The remaining pages of the magazine feature a variety of content, including specialized articles, research studies, sections on places and times, poetic reflections, a sports corner, and other topics.
