Based on the initiative of the UAE smart government to accelerate the pace of smart transformation in government agencies at the federal and local levels, and in order to achieve the strategy of the Ministry of Interior and the directives of His Excellency Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, the Traffic and Patrols Department of Ras Al Khaimah Police has started implementing the smart transformation of the program of confiscation and sale of impounded vehicles in cooperation with the General Resources Authority and Partners.

Lieutenant-Colonel Dr. Muhammad Abdullah Al-Bahar, Acting Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department, noted that the smart program sorts and scrutinizes confiscated automobiles pursuant to the legislation of public auction sale and commences the legal procedures cycle without the need of any paperwork.
