The Media and Public Relations Department of Ras Al Khaimah Police released April issue of Al Ain Al Sahira magazine (No. 354), which includes a variety of news, reports, investigations, and specialized police articles.
The cover of the new issue of Al Ain Al Sahira magazine features the title “Social Media… Security Implications for Individuals and Society.” The investigation examines the impacts of these platforms and their negative repercussions at both the individual and societal levels, as well as the importance of safeguarding and securing personal information to preserve personal and societal security. It also highlights the State’s efforts to regulate the use of the internet and enact deterrent legislation to limit the effects of various social media platforms.
The editorial of the April issue of Al Ain Al Sahira magazine addressed traffic awareness as a reflection of public consciousness, highlighting its role in reinforcing the foundations of traffic order and promoting disciplined driving practices rooted in civility, away from chaos and dangerous behaviors that threaten the safety of others.
In the “Security Insight” column, H.E. Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, wrote about strategic planning as a key tool for selecting the most appropriate alternatives in line with available resources and the nature of the desired objectives. He noted that the importance of such planning becomes evident within institutions amid the increasing complexity and interconnection of relationships across various fields affecting performance, which necessitates anticipating future conditions and preparing through the development of plans and programs that ensure the achievement of objectives under expected environmental circumstances.
In the “Highlights” column, Lieutenant Colonel Khalid Hassan Al Naqbi, Editor-in-Chief of the magazine, wrote under the title “May Our Nation Remain in God's Protection” noting that unjustified attempts to involve the UAE in the current tensions between the United States, Iran, and Israel affirm that stability is no longer solely a domestic responsibility, but rather a regional challenge that requires concerted efforts. He also pointed to the UAE’s ability to act with wisdom and balance, placing the interests of its people and its national security above all considerations.
The issue includes a diverse range of news related to the General Command of Ras Al Khaimah Police, along with a report on societal awareness, which serves as a key factor in the successful management of crises and a solid barrier against rumors. It also features specialized articles, police studies and research, reports, and papers, in addition to dedicated sections such as “Places and Times,” “Outstanding Personnel,” “Sports Corner,” “Community News,” and “A Window to the Past,” among others.
