Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command, represented by the Media and Public Relations Department, released the latest July edition (Issue No. 345) of Al Ain Al Sahira magazine.
The magazine’s main cover featured an awareness-raising investigative report in observance of the International Day Against Drug Abuse, under the theme “An Aware Family... A Safe Society.” The report addressed the harmful effects of drugs on health and society, as well as the efforts of the Ministry of Interior and Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command, represented by the Anti-Narcotics Department and relevant security units, to combat drug abuse and raise public awareness of its consequences and harm.

The report addressed the role of the family in monitoring their children and preventing them from falling into the grip of this affliction, in addition to commending the country's efforts in rehabilitating and treating addicts through dedicated rehabilitation centers.

The editorial of the latest issue of Al Ain Al Sahira magazine addressed the topic titled “Security and Society… Hand in Hand to Combat Drugs,” highlighting the active contributions and achievements of the United Arab Emirates in promoting international cooperation in the field of drug control.

His Excellency Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, offered valuable guidance to youth, families, and the community through his regular column “Security Vision” under the title “Drugs Are Not a Refuge.” In his message, he provided insightful advice on combating this affliction, supporting addicts, and guiding them toward recovery and rehabilitation.

He highlighted the tangible efforts made by the country and its various security forces in combating drugs, their promoters, and traffickers.

The magazine’s pages featured a variety of topics, including Security Sciences, Studies, Places and Times, Society News, and Sports Corner, along with other specialized police-related subjects aimed at reaching diverse segments of society to promote knowledge, legal awareness, and a culture of security.
