The Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the General Resources Authority to facilitate practical driving examinations for applicants seeking heavy vehicle licenses. This includes technical inspection tests for mechanical equipment, trucks, and both light and heavy buses. The examinations will be conducted in the authority’s designated yard, located behind the Traffic and Licensing Services Center.

The MoU was signed by His Excellency Brigadier Ahmed Al Sam Al Naqbi, Director General of Central Operations at Ras Al Khaimah Police, and Moza Ali Salem Al Marri, Head of Resources and Support Services Department at the General Resources Authority.

Brigadier Al Naqbi emphasized that the agreement aims to enhance service quality for license applicants while reinforcing collaboration between Ras Al Khaimah Police and the General Resources Authority. The initiative ensures that practical driving tests are conducted in a state-of-the-art facility that meets the highest safety standards.

He further noted that the MoU outlines the operational framework for delivering these services efficiently, streamlining procedures to save time and effort for applicants. He also praised the strong strategic partnership between the two entities, highlighting how such cooperation supports the Ministry of Interior’s vision of enhancing customer satisfaction and delivering high-quality public services
