The search and rescue teams of Ras Al Khaimah Police, in collaboration with the National Search and Rescue Center of the National Guard, the Civil Defense Department in Ras Al Khaimah, and the Air Wing Section, successfully rescued a 30-year-old Emirati man who suffered a serious injury after falling from a mountain in the rugged Wadi Haqil area.
Upon receiving a report about the incident, Ras Al Khaimah Police swiftly dispatched specialized teams to the scene. After an extensive search in the challenging terrain, the teams located the injured citizen. Due to the severity of his injury, he was airlifted by a helicopter from the National Search and Rescue Center to the hospital for urgent medical care. Meanwhile, the Rams Comprehensive Police Station assumed responsibility for the incident file to proceed with the necessary investigations.
The General Command of Ras Al Khaimah Police urged citizens, residents, and mountain enthusiasts to avoid dangerous and rugged areas and take adequate precautions to prevent accidents. They also recommended notifying police authorities before embarking on mountain adventures and specifying planned locations to expedite assistance in emergencies. Ras Al Khaimah Police reaffirmed their readiness to respond to emergencies and provide aid at all times.
