The Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, received a delegation from the National Search and Rescue Center of the National Guard, led by Deputy Director General Rashid Ahmed Hassan Al Naqbi. The meeting took place in the presence of Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, Brigadier Abdullah Khamis Al Hadidi, Director General of Central Operations at Ras Al Khaimah Police, Brigadier Dr. Muhammad Saeed Al Hamidi, as well as other police officers and officials from both sides.
The purpose of the visit was to strengthen coordination between the General Command of Ras Al Khaimah Police and the National Search and Rescue Center in various aspects of search and rescue operations. Discussions focused on enhancing the response capabilities of the Central Operations Room and improving the exchange of information. The aim was to develop effective strategies, utilize available resources, and enhance cooperation in accordance with the agreed areas of collaboration. The meeting also aimed to foster the exchange of experiences to further enhance search and rescue services and the management of related operations.
Major General Ali bin Alwan commended the National Search and Rescue Center for its positive and constructive role in implementing search and rescue services on land, air, and sea. He acknowledged the center's coordination efforts with local and federal authorities in carrying out rescue operations and safeguarding lives, all while adhering to international standards and specifications for equipment, devices, supplies, and regulations related to search and rescue operations. He expressed his desire for continuous cooperation, emphasizing the importance of sustainable collaboration for the future.
