Ras Al Khaimah Police Complete Security Preparations for Eid Al Adha

The Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command has finalized its comprehensive security and traffic plans in preparation for the Eid Al Adha holiday, ensuring the highest levels of safety, security, and public comfort across the emirate.

Brigadier Ahmed Saeed Al Mansouri, Director General of Central Operations at Ras Al Khaimah Police, confirmed that the General Command has mobilized all human, technical, and logistical resources to enhance community security and quality of life during the holiday period. This includes intensifying the deployment of security and traffic patrols, increasing the field presence of specialized police teams, and implementing proactive measures to ensure public safety.

He explained that security and traffic coverage will be strengthened at vital locations throughout the emirate, including Eid prayer grounds, slaughterhouses, public markets, shopping centers, parks, beaches, and other areas expected to witness high visitor numbers. These measures are aimed at ensuring smooth traffic flow, maintaining public order, and providing a rapid response to any emergency situations.

Brigadier Al Mansouri stressed the importance of adhering to safety regulations and warned against the possession or use of fireworks due to the risks they pose to individuals, property, and public safety. He also urged motorists to comply with traffic laws, avoid reckless driving and dangerous stunts, particularly near residential areas, and exercise caution on the roads throughout the holiday period.

He further called on parents and guardians to closely supervise their children, especially in public places, recreational areas, beaches, and while crossing roads, to help prevent accidents and ensure the safety of all family members.

The Director General of Central Operations emphasized the importance of community cooperation in maintaining security and safety during the Eid holiday. He encouraged the public to report any incidents or behaviors that may affect public order by contacting Ras Al Khaimah Police through emergency number 999 or non-emergency number 901.

Brigadier Al Mansouri concluded by extending his warmest congratulations and best wishes to the UAE leadership, citizens, residents, and visitors on the occasion of Eid Al Adha, wishing everyone a safe, secure, and joyful holiday.
