On Monday, Ras Al Khaimah police activated monitoring and surveillance cameras at the Awafi Bridge and Al Hadaf intersection as part of a series of smart systems introduced by the Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command to support the security surveillance project within the framework of the smart city system.

Ras Al Khaimah Police announced that the radars and security cameras at these intersections monitor and control traffic violations such as exceeding the legal speed limit and running through red lights, which result in a fine of 1000 dirhams, the addition of 12 traffic points, and the confiscation of the vehicle for a month.
