The General Command of Ras Al Khaimah Police, represented by Ras Al Khaimah Police Youth Council, the Criminal Investigations Department, the Media and Public Relations Department, the Community Protection and Prevention Department, the Police Training Center, and the Human Resources Department, participated in a panel discussion titled “A Sustainable Society: Engaged, United, and Youth-Supportive.” The event was organized by Umm Al Quwain University and hosted by the Ras Al Khaimah Youth Center, in the presence of a number of officers, personnel, university and center representatives, as well as a large group of students and staff.

The panel discussion was moderated by Moza Al-Fuqaei, a member of Ras Al Khaimah Police Youth Council. The session featured several speakers: Major Abdullah Ali Shlayek, Manager of Community Awareness Branch at the Community Protection and Prevention Department, addressed Ras Al Khaimah Police initiatives for building a sustainable society; Jasem Ahmed Al Dabbal, Director of Youth Centers at the Federal Youth Authority, spoke about the role of youth center initiatives in promoting a sustainable society; and Engineer Saeeda Hassan Al-Haili from the Electronic Services and Communications Department at Ras Al Khaimah Police, highlighted the role of technology and artificial intelligence in building a sustainable society.

At the conclusion of the session, all participants were honored in appreciation of their attendance and valuable contributions. Captain Marwan Mohammed Al-Suwaidi, Chairman of the Ras Al Khaimah Police Youth Council, affirmed the Council’s commitment to active and positive participation in all events that support society initiatives, with the aim of enhancing local youth engagement and highlighting the importance of sustainability across various fields, as well as the role of youth in proposing solutions to related challenges.
