Based on the directives of His Excellency Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, His Excellency Brigadier Dr. Mohammed Saeed Al Hamidi, Director General of Central Operations of Ras Al Khaimah Police, and in the presence of His Excellency Brigadier Ahmed Saeed Al Naqbi, Director of Traffic and Patrols Department of Ras Al Khaimah Police, launched the first unified traffic awareness campaign nationwide for the year 2021 under the slogan “Sudden Swerve” and its risks to the lives of vehicle drivers and road users.

Brigadier Dr. Muhammad Al Hamidi explained that this campaign is part of the traffic sector initiatives to improve safety on roads and achieve the highest levels of traffic safety, reaching 3 deaths per 100,000 inhabitants by 2021. The campaign will last until the end of this March.
