The Ras Al Khaimah Police Air Wing conducted 52 diverse flights during the third quarter of this year. Lieutenant Colonel Pilot Abdullah Ali Al Shehhi, Head of the Ras Al Khaimah Police Air Wing Section, stated that these flights fall within the operational duties and responsibilities assigned to the section, which plays a vital role in supporting the progress and success of the Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command through its multi-purpose air operations. He explained that the flights carried out over the past three months included training missions, security patrols, support flights for various government entities, and community service operations. These efforts reflect the ongoing cooperation between the Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command and its partners in serving the public interest and enhancing security and safety throughout the emirate. Lieutenant Colonel Al Shehhi further noted that with the arrival of winter and the growing number of citizens, residents, and visitors engaging in mountain activities and hiking, it is essential for everyone to fully comply with safety instructions. He advised the public to inform the police operations room of their planned destinations before departure, carry sufficient food and water, ensure mobile phones are fully charged, and avoid rugged or dangerous areas that may pose risks to their safety. He emphasized the readiness of the Air Wing Section and its teams around the clock to respond swiftly to any emergencies or incidents, with the goal of saving lives and ensuring public safety, a mission that relies on the community’s cooperation and awareness.
