Ras Al Khaimah Police Ready to Welcome Eid Al Fitr

The Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command has confirmed its full readiness to welcome the Eid al-Fitr through the implementation of a comprehensive security and traffic plan. The plan aims to enhance safety and security, improve road safety, and align with the strategic objectives of the Ministry of Interior.

Ras Al Khaimah Police stated that the Eid plan includes intensifying traffic and security presence at key intersections, markets, tourist facilities, shopping centers, as well as internal and external roads that experience high traffic volumes during the holiday period. This is intended to ensure the safety and security of the public, reduce traffic congestion resulting from increased movement, and promote a sense of safety and reassurance within the society.

The Command emphasized the high level of coordination and cooperation with all relevant authorities and departments within an integrated framework aimed at enhancing overall security and road safety, ensuring smooth traffic flow, and safeguarding all road users.

The public has been urged to cooperate by adhering to police and traffic instructions, complying with laws and regulations, and avoiding violations that may result in legal consequences. Ras Al Khaimah Police also confirmed that various operational scenarios have been developed to manage potential traffic congestion during the Eid Al Fitr holiday, particularly with the expected influx of citizens, residents, and visitors to the emirate’s tourist destinations.

The Command further stressed the importance of responsible driving, especially among young drivers, urging them to avoid reckless behavior and dangerous stunts that pose serious risks to their lives and the safety of others.

Additionally, the Police Operations Room operates around the clock, equipped with advanced technologies to handle calls and inquiries efficiently. Members of the public are encouraged to contact 999 for emergencies and 901 for non-emergency cases.
