The Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command, through its Happiness Section of the Strategy and Performance Development Department, organized a workshop titled “Clearing Bureaucracy” in partnership with the Service Development Department of the General Directorate of Happiness at the Ministry of Interior. This initiative aligns with government directives to simplify procedures and service requirements for customers, fulfilling the UAE government's commitment to future services.

The workshop aimed to promote a culture of eliminating bureaucracy and improving the customer journey by refining service processes. Emphasizing the participation of all stakeholders in the development process, the workshop focused on boosting customer satisfaction by reducing unnecessary procedures and requirements.

Held at the Traffic and Licensing Services Center, the workshop included diverse customer categories and various job levels, generating numerous ideas and proposals to streamline procedures and reduce service delivery times. This effort is expected to enhance the customer experience with services provided by the Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command.

The workshop concluded with an open Q&A session, emphasizing priority services, service delivery mechanisms, and channels for all provided services. This initiative is a significant step towards achieving the goals of the zeroing bureaucracy program, aiming to cut procedural time by at least 50% and eliminate 2,000 unnecessary government procedures. By educating workers and customers on the concept of “zeroing bureaucracy” and encouraging their involvement in service design, the program aspires to deliver services with the highest quality and efficiency.
