The General Command of Ras Al Khaimah Police has activated its preparedness, readiness, and response plans to address the heavy rainfall, weather fluctuations, and winds affecting the Emirate since yesterday, which are expected to continue over the coming days according to weather forecasts. The Command issued advisories and warning alerts through its official channels and social media platforms, in addition to sending SMS warning messages urging all members of the society to exercise caution while driving, avoid excessive speeds, and refrain from visiting valleys and areas where rainwater flows and accumulates.
Ras Al Khaimah Police reinforced the presence of patrols and rescue teams across all internal and external roads in the Emirate, in addition to responding to public inquiries via the (901) call center, receiving calls, and providing the necessary support and assistance through the Central Operations Room. Moreover, comprehensive police stations continued to deliver their security services around the clock, deploying 50 patrols across their areas of jurisdiction to enhance security and safety continuously, with speed and precision.
Ras Al Khaimah Police commended the cooperation of its relevant strategic partners in securing roads, ensuring safe mobility, and enhancing safety for all residents of the Emirate. The Police affirmed that all rescue teams are operating under the supervision of highly competent and capable work teams committed to maintaining a strong field presence to carry out their duties and provide all means of comfort and safety to the public.
